Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken

I went to Teluk Bayan Hawker Center the other day. There are a few stalls outside the hawker center. One of them is the newly open stall, Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken by Mommy Wang. I saw this stall many times when I last visited the hawker center, but I never try.

That day after my dinner inside the hawker center, I decided to buy the Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken to try out. There are a lot of people waiting in front of the stall. I don’t have the chance to take good photo.

Dragon-i Restaurant

I went to Queensbay Mall again. This time, I brought my brother there since he never been there. Last time when he was in Penang, there is no Queensbay Mall yet. After walking for sometime, we headed to Dragon-i to have our dinner.

When Dragon-i Restaurant newly open in Queensbay Mall, you can see a large crowd in front of the restaurant. You need to get a number and wait for your turn. There are seats available for you to sit while waiting. Before this, I only tried it once with 2 of my friends last year. That time, I not yet start my food blog, no photos have been taken. This is the second time, and of course, I will not miss the chance to take the food photos.

Obake-Ya Restaurant

I went to Obake-Ya Restaurant with my friends after the Chinese New Year this year. I got to know this restaurant from forwarded email and the food review from people’s blog. The theme of the restaurant caught my attention. It was interesting to have a jail concept restaurant to serve Japanese food. I thought of giving it a try.

Wong Kok Char Chan Teng: Char Siew Bun

I bought the Char Siew Bun (Honey Roasted Pork Bun) together with the Polo Bun. I saw the Char Siew Soh which is recommended by CK Lam, but I didn’t get it. I chose to have Char Siew Bun instead.

The waiter who serve me was good in doing business. At first, I bought 2 Polo Bun and 1 Char Siew Bun. Then he asked me to get another one, to make it 4 and put into a box for me. I asked my mom what she wants, she picked the Char Siew Bun.
