Chinese New Year: Yummy Station Butter Cookies

Chinese New Year is just 2 days away. Since the beginning of the month, we already can see the Chinese New Year Biscuit on sales. Everyone is busy doing the spring cleaning, baking the biscuit and shopping. Every year, I will bake the butter cookies and give them to my friends. This year will be a rush for me because I only have one day to do it, which is last Monday. Before start baking, I went to Tesco Hypermarket to get all the stuffs needed. Once done, the baking session begins.

It is very easy to bake the butter cookies. The ingredients you need are:

12 Oz Self Raising Flour
6 Oz Icing Sugar
6 Oz Butter
1 Egg

Young Heart Restaurant @ Penang Pulau Tikus

Before I start, I want to thank CK for her kindness to invite me to this food review session (Must ask me next time ya!!). Thanks Steven for compiling all the dishes name and Jason for the great photos (I used 11 of them).

Young Heart Restaurant is having a brand new menu for Chinese New Year. Our purpose is to try out the food before its release. If you are planning to go for a lunch or dinner during Chinese New Year, don’t forget about Young Heart Restaurant.

Pepper Lunch @ Singapore IMM Shopping Centre

First of all, I would like to wish all my readers to have a wonderful 2009 ahead, Happy New Year!!! I tried to post last night but it seems my connection is having some difficulty to upload the photos. I gave up in the end. OK back to the food.

Again, this restaurant was located in the IMM building. I met up with Hoon and she decided to fetch me to IMM since it is the nearest shopping centre. She wanted to let me try out the food in Pepper Lunch. It is her recommendation since 2007. Luckily, we went there early and it was on a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded.
