This coming Saturday, 3rd October will be the Mooncake Festival. If there is no leap month, Mooncake Festival is actually celebrated one month before. If you happened to go to the shopping mall, there are so many stalls selling all kinds of Mooncakes. However, I never buy any. Few weeks ago, I went to Criz’s house to taste all the Mooncake he bought.
Because of this nicely design box from Baker’s Cottage, Criz bought the Mooncake from them.
The box is really nice. No wonder it can attract people to buy the Mooncake.
All the 10 Mooncakes from different shop, including Baker’s Cottage, Hock Lock Siew Biscuit Trading and Tao Yuan.

Precious Black (Pure charcoal powder butter pastry skin, no sugar added white lotus paste with chunky dried longan, natural wolf berry lotus paste) – RM11.90
Rich Chocolate Peanut Praline (Flavorful chocolate butter pastry skin, rich and smooth chocolate lotus paste, tantalizing fine peanut praline filling) – RM11.90

Pearl of Prosperity (Pandan lotus paste/yellow mung bean paste and egg yolk) – RM11.80

Moon biscuit or so called “Gong Zai Peng” from Hock Lock Siew, with red bean, lotus, durian and coconut filling.
Black Sesame with Pumpkin Seeds Moon Biscuits. I like this one.
Homemade Mooncake from Steven’s mum.
Homemade Piglet Mooncake. My aunt bought it from her friend. Cute right?
For my own preference, Pure Lotus Mooncake is still my all time favorite. I will try to grab 1 or 2 in this coming days. 🙂

i love mooncake .. and everytime i’ll check out the boxes before purchasing the mooncakes. this year, like last year, i think baker’s cottage has the nicest box!!!
That one Precious Black is the selling hot item – Hak Long Zhyuu, right?! I couldn’t grab even one piece after going to 3-4 shopping complexes. The only answerI got is SOLD OUT! 🙁
