Vistana Hotel Penang will have its annual Ramadan Buffet with the theme “Tok Wan 101 Recipes” starting from June 19 to July 16, priced at RM65 nett per adult and RM30 nett per child aged 4-12 years old, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm at Ground Floor Ballroom.
In conjunction with the Ramadan month, Eastin Hotel Penang will launch its Ramadan Buffet Dinner “Eastin Ku Kampung Ku” starting from 18th June to 18th July. Eastin Hotel Penang is located just beside the Queensbay Mall.

This is the 2nd time I go to Penang Hill this year. Previously, I went there just for sightseeing. This time, I went there to try out the set dinner from David Brown’s Restaurant & Tea Terrace. To go up Penang hill, you can either take the train or hike to the hill. I took the train, I am too lazy to hike and the weather is too hot that day. It costs RM10 for return trip with MyKad.
This is one the entrances for David Brown’s. Turn left to go to the Sky Terrace while turn right to go to the restaurant. Turn right it is!
Gartien, famous for its Pineapple Tart, has recently released a new product called Crystal Pineapple Confiture. With this new product launch, Gartien partnered up with 4 different restaurants to have a crossover. These 4 restaurants are Zi Zai Restaurant, Kai Curry Bar, Cafe 43 and Soul Cafe. Among these four, Zi Zai Restaurant is the one I went to try out the crossover food.
Zest Bar Cafe has launched their new menu recently, from Western food to Thai food. Daily set lunch menu is available for Thai food lovers. If Thai is not the preference, à la carte will be the option. Zest Bar Cafe is the restaurant inside Glow by Zinc Hotel, located at Macalister Road, opposite Abu Siti Lane.
