I went to Juru Auto City with 2 of my friends 4 months ago for one of my friends’ belated birthday. Her birthday was in May. Since 3 of us were busy on different time, we have no choice to postpone the birthday celebration one month later. My friend suggested we went for the Szechuan super hot steamboat (Ma La Steamboat) in Jiu Jiu Szechuan Restaurant.
Every time I heard about Genting Coffee Shop, the very first thing that comes into my mind will be the famous Chee Cheong Fun. Many food bloggers have posted about this hawker food. I just cannot stop myself from introducing once again to you.
Genting Chee Cheong Fun is the BEST Chee Cheong Fun I have ever had in Penang. Of course, this is based on my own preference. To me, it is the best. But to others, it may be not. It depends on people. Most of the time, if I happen to pass by that area during afternoon, I will make sure to get the Chee Cheong Fun back to home.
I want to try out the dessert from Sugar Dynasty for a long time. There is an steamboat restaurant nearby. Every time I went for the steamboat, I will tell myself that I wanted to try out the dessert after my meal. However, every time I don’t have the chance to go. You know why? Because after the meal from steamboat restaurant, my stomach was fully occupied. There was no more space to fit in any dessert. Too bad!
Before heading to the Big Apple Donuts & Coffee to get the donuts, we went for our lunch at Food & Tea Restaurant. It was a Hong Kong Style Restaurant. There is another Hong Kong style restaurant just beside Food & Tea, Hongkie Restaurant. I went for Food & Tea instead of Hongkie since there is an Hongkie outlet in E-Gate, and I tried the food before.
There is another reason why I went there. My cousin told me about this place just after she went to the Seberang Perai City. She even sent me the photos she took, together with a simple description. However, I still prefer to try by myself and post the photos that I took. Anyway, thanks to her.
