Edelweiss Cafe

I will never know about this Cafe if I didn’t see the post from CK Lam. CK, Lingzie and other food bloggers are organizing the 2nd Food Blogger Gathering, and Edelweiss Cafe will be the venue for the meet up. I am glad I have made it to the gathering.

The dinner starts around 8pm. Before we start to have our dinner, Lingzie, aka the chairman gave a welcoming speech.

Each and everyone have the same drink, Ice Lemon Tea.

We have Toasted Roti Benggali with Cheese and Onions as a starter. Each of us will get 2 pieces. The waitress reminding us, afraid anyone of us will get more than 2! Hahaha.

Toasted Roti Benggali with Cheese and Onions are just yummy. If you have the time, you can do it at home too. It’s pretty simple. Nice starter!

Followed by the Pumpkin Orange Soup, which is served with the garlic bread. I forgot how was the soup taste like. But I like it, this is what I remembered. 🙂

For the main course, we can choose from 5 choices. We need to make the decision before the gathering. I have no idea which one to choose in the first place. After getting the description and suggestion by Lingzie, I chose the BBQ Pork Ribs, which comes with the French fries and salad.

The BBQ Pork Ribs were superb! There are 4 pieces of Pork Ribs. The portion was huge if compare to others. I enjoy the BBQ Pork Ribs very much. The pork was not tough, it was just fine to be eaten. The BBQ sauce made the Pork Ribs become tasty and delicious.

The rest of the 4 choices are:

Curry Pork Sausage, served with French fries and salad as well. The sausage has tomato sauce and curry powder sprinkled on top.

Roast Leg of Lamb, served with mashed potatoes, gravy and mint sauce.

Gammon Ham, served with mashed potatoes, onion gravy and salad.

Smoke Pork Belly, served with mashed potatoes and salad.

After the main course, we started to chit chat among ourselves and taking the photos with other food bloggers and the environment (The photos are a bit blur. I used night mode with flash. My hand was shaking. Too bad!). We are so excited, taking the photos non stop, until we need to be asked to sit down to have our dessert. Haha, funny huh?

Besides, when the food was serve, all of us just take the opportunity to take the photos before we can start to eat. You need to be there to experience the wildness and the excitement!

Dessert was served few minutes before 10pm. It was the Apple Flan with the ice cream. Oh, I like it so much!!

Some of the dessert will be very sweet, but this Apple Flan was just great. That is why I like it.

After the dessert, a cup of coffee was served. You can choose between coffee or Tea.

The dinner costs RM38 nett! It was really worth it!

One thing I need to mention, I was happy to see many bloggers in person. They are Lingzie, CK Lam, Chan Lilian, Nicholas, Ah Shui, Ken, PenangTuaPui (Huat Koay and Tam Chiak), Criz, Steven Goh, Andrew, Durian Berry, and many more who I missed out. So nice to meet you all!

Oh, before I forgot, besides the dinner, each of the attendees will get door gift. There are discount voucher and cookies inside.

We also have the “lucky draw” during the dinner. It’s not really a lucky draw. Everyone will get the gift, depends on which number you got. I got a number 1 and this is what I got: a RM50 cash voucher for Fun Tea Garden. Great huh?!

In addition, we also get to try the pineapple/jam tart and brownie by CK Lam and Ah Shui. Both tart and brownie are delicious! Thanks so much!

Although the gathering has just passed, I am already waiting for the next one. 🙂

  1. If you scroll past this site without looking carefully you will miss something, and a stop at urbanpetalcollective extended that mild warning, the surface of the site does not advertise its quality loudly which means careful attention is required to recognise what is being offered here which is itself a kind of editorial signal.

  2. Worth pointing out that the post avoided the temptation to summarise everything at the end, and a look at rapidcartsolutions continued that confident closing approach, content that trusts readers to retain the substance without being reminded of it at the end is content that respects the reader and this site practices that respect.

  3. Worth flagging that this approach to the topic is fresh without being contrarian, and a stop at sunmeadowstore extended the same fresh angle, finding original perspective on familiar subjects is rare and this site has clearly developed its own way of seeing rather than echoing the dominant takes from elsewhere consistently.

  4. Liked that the post landed without needing to manufacture controversy or take a contrarian stance for attention, and a stop at cloudberrytraders continued that grounded approach, content that earns attention through quality rather than provocation is the kind that builds long term trust rather than burning it on quick wins.

  5. Just wanted to say this was useful and leave a small note of thanks, and a quick visit to premiumcartarena earned a similar nod from me, the small acknowledgements add up over time and represent the real economy of trust that good content runs on across the open and increasingly fragmented modern internet.

  6. finding a safe online betting site like KO66 always feels amazing considering the sheer variety of modern slots plus secure payment systems always protect your personal funds without unnecessary stress.

  8. Honestly enjoyed reading this more than I expected to when I first clicked through, and a stop at goldencovegoods kept that pleasant surprise going, sometimes you stumble onto a site that just clicks with how you like to read and this is one of those for me right now today which is great.

  9. Genuinely changed how I think about a small piece of the topic, which does not happen often online, and a look at swiftmaplecorner added another nudge in the same direction, the kind of writing that earns a small mental shift rather than just confirming what you already thought before reading is a sign of careful thought.

  10. This treatment of provider lists and comparison criteria
avoids reducing the subject to a feature list. Shortlist notes cite comparable proposal sections, technical artifacts, references supplied by the buyer,
assumptions, and unresolved questions. That gives
readers a clearer basis for comparison. what is blockchain companies (https://dev.to/)

  12. Honestly informative, the writer covers the ground without showing off, and a look at premiumgoodsstation reflected the same humility, content that respects the reader rather than trying to dazzle them is something I always appreciate and rarely come across in this corner of the internet today across the topics I usually read.

  13. Came away with some new perspectives I had not considered before, and after twilightmaplecorner those ideas felt more complete, the kind of content that stays with you a little while after reading rather than slipping out the moment you switch tabs and move on with your day to whatever comes next.
