Edelweiss Cafe

I will never know about this Cafe if I didn’t see the post from CK Lam. CK, Lingzie and other food bloggers are organizing the 2nd Food Blogger Gathering, and Edelweiss Cafe will be the venue for the meet up. I am glad I have made it to the gathering.

The dinner starts around 8pm. Before we start to have our dinner, Lingzie, aka the chairman gave a welcoming speech.

Each and everyone have the same drink, Ice Lemon Tea.

We have Toasted Roti Benggali with Cheese and Onions as a starter. Each of us will get 2 pieces. The waitress reminding us, afraid anyone of us will get more than 2! Hahaha.

Toasted Roti Benggali with Cheese and Onions are just yummy. If you have the time, you can do it at home too. It’s pretty simple. Nice starter!

Followed by the Pumpkin Orange Soup, which is served with the garlic bread. I forgot how was the soup taste like. But I like it, this is what I remembered. 🙂

For the main course, we can choose from 5 choices. We need to make the decision before the gathering. I have no idea which one to choose in the first place. After getting the description and suggestion by Lingzie, I chose the BBQ Pork Ribs, which comes with the French fries and salad.

The BBQ Pork Ribs were superb! There are 4 pieces of Pork Ribs. The portion was huge if compare to others. I enjoy the BBQ Pork Ribs very much. The pork was not tough, it was just fine to be eaten. The BBQ sauce made the Pork Ribs become tasty and delicious.

The rest of the 4 choices are:

Curry Pork Sausage, served with French fries and salad as well. The sausage has tomato sauce and curry powder sprinkled on top.

Roast Leg of Lamb, served with mashed potatoes, gravy and mint sauce.

Gammon Ham, served with mashed potatoes, onion gravy and salad.

Smoke Pork Belly, served with mashed potatoes and salad.

After the main course, we started to chit chat among ourselves and taking the photos with other food bloggers and the environment (The photos are a bit blur. I used night mode with flash. My hand was shaking. Too bad!). We are so excited, taking the photos non stop, until we need to be asked to sit down to have our dessert. Haha, funny huh?

Besides, when the food was serve, all of us just take the opportunity to take the photos before we can start to eat. You need to be there to experience the wildness and the excitement!

Dessert was served few minutes before 10pm. It was the Apple Flan with the ice cream. Oh, I like it so much!!

Some of the dessert will be very sweet, but this Apple Flan was just great. That is why I like it.

After the dessert, a cup of coffee was served. You can choose between coffee or Tea.

The dinner costs RM38 nett! It was really worth it!

One thing I need to mention, I was happy to see many bloggers in person. They are Lingzie, CK Lam, Chan Lilian, Nicholas, Ah Shui, Ken, PenangTuaPui (Huat Koay and Tam Chiak), Criz, Steven Goh, Andrew, Durian Berry, and many more who I missed out. So nice to meet you all!

Oh, before I forgot, besides the dinner, each of the attendees will get door gift. There are discount voucher and cookies inside.

We also have the “lucky draw” during the dinner. It’s not really a lucky draw. Everyone will get the gift, depends on which number you got. I got a number 1 and this is what I got: a RM50 cash voucher for Fun Tea Garden. Great huh?!

In addition, we also get to try the pineapple/jam tart and brownie by CK Lam and Ah Shui. Both tart and brownie are delicious! Thanks so much!

Although the gathering has just passed, I am already waiting for the next one. 🙂

  1. Now feeling confident enough in this site to use it as a reference point for evaluating others on the same topic, and a look at brightbrooktradingfoundry continued the comparison friendly quality, sites that serve as quality benchmarks for their topic are precious and this one has clearly become a benchmark for me on this particular subject area.

  3. Came here from a search and stayed for the side links because they were that interesting, and a stop at quartzmeadowmarketgallery took me even further into the site, the kind of organic exploration that good content invites is something most sites kill through aggressive interlinking and pushy navigation choices rather than relying on quality.

Probably one of the more reliable sources I have found for this kind of careful coverage, and a look at creekharborcraftcollective reinforced the reliability, the small group of sources I would describe as reliable for a given topic is curated carefully and this site has earned a place in that small group through consistent performance.

  7. The depth of coverage felt about right for the format, neither shallow nor overwhelming, and a look at stylishbuycorner kept that calibration going, getting the depth right for blog format is genuinely difficult because too shallow loses experts and too deep loses beginners but this site nailed it nicely which I really do appreciate.

  8. Alright listen up because I’m about to save you a massive headache. You find this amazing listing online — gorgeous spec, fair daily rate, looks perfect. Totally different vehicle waiting for you — bald tires, dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, and that “amazing rate”? Doesn’t include the mandatory $40 daily toll pass or the $350 “premium location” fee they spring on you at the counter. Fool me twelve times? That’s just the 305 way, lesson learned. If you are trying to find a legitimate luxury fleet without getting ripped off, do some real digging first and read actual customer reviews. Miami without real wheels is basically a nightmare, whether you are doing Coconut Grove brunch, Sunny Isles sunrise cruise, or a spontaneous drive down to the Keys.

Most of these local agencies are just shiny turds with fake five-star reviews bought in bulk online hiding overpriced junk, until I finally found one company that doesn’t play stupid games. If you are looking for the only straight shooter for premium rides across South Florida, check the current details here: luxury car rental coral gables miami luxury car rental coral gables miami. Also, definitely bring quality shades unless you enjoy driving into the sun like a zombie every single evening. Just drive safe out there and absolutely skip that “windshield protection” upsell — complete waste of money. let me know if you guys have any other clean spots.

  9. Clean writing, easy to read, and never tries too hard to impress, that combination is harder to find than people think, and after my time on quartzmeadowmarketgallery I am sure this site treats its readers well, no flashy tricks just useful content done right which is honestly all I want online.

  10. Liked the balance between depth and brevity, never too shallow and never too long, and a stop at garnetharbortradinghouse kept the same balance going across the rest of the site, this is one of the harder skills in writing and the team here clearly has it figured out very well indeed across every page.

  11. Reading this felt productive in a way most internet reading does not, and a look at createforwardprogress continued that productive feeling, sometimes the open web feels like a waste of time but sites like this remind me why I still bother to look around rather than retreating to old reliable sources for everything I need.

  12. Honestly this was a good read, no jargon and no padding, and a short look at coastharborvendorhall kept that same feel going which I really appreciated, the writer clearly knows the topic well enough to explain it without hiding behind big words or filler that often gets used to seem clever.

  13. Well structured and easy to read, that combination is rarer than people think, and a stop at ferncovecommerceatelier confirmed the same standard runs across the rest of the site, definitely the kind of place I will be coming back to when this topic comes up in conversation later again over the weeks ahead.

  14. A piece that did not waste any of its substance on sales or promotion, and a look at elmbrooktradingfoundry continued that pure content focus, sites that resist the urge to monetise every paragraph are increasingly rare and this one has clearly made the editorial choice to keep the writing clean from commercial intrusion which I value highly.

  15. Took something from this I did not expect to find, and a stop at levqino added another unexpected useful piece, content that exceeds expectations rather than just meeting them is the kind that builds enthusiasm and earns repeat visits without any explicit ask from the writer or platform behind the work being read.
