Langkawi Nature Discovery Trip

*This is a special long post with lots of photos*

This post will include food review (as usual), as well as those places I went on the tour. It is a Langkawi Nature Discovery Tour in conjunction with the “Travel with A Green Heart” campaign, brought to you by Langkawi Coral. Thanks to Mr Criz and Mr Leslie.

I woke up early in that morning and fetched 2 other bloggers before headed to Port Swettenham. We supposed to be there at 7.30am, but we were a bit late. After meeting our tour guide Jeffrey and getting the passes, we board the boat. It took around 3 hours to reach Langkawi.

This is the boat we took.

Once we reached, we were sent for lunch at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club by a van. Before on board, I managed to snap the photo of the symbol of Langkawi, the Eagle.

Royal Langkawi Yacht Club is very near to the port.

The food was ready for us. We only need to order the drinks: Juices, Coffee or Tea.

Orange Juice

Apple Juice

Latte

The Tomato Soup was the first to be served. It was too sour for our liking.

img_3680

Fish and Chip. The flour was too thick and the taste of the sauce was a bit weird.

Chicken Burger.

Beef Burger.

Fried Rice with Satay.

img_3722

Sandwich. Very nice, I like it.

Spaghetti.

The view from Royal Langkawi Yacht Club was awesome.

After the lunch, we were rushing to the Langkawi Cable Car. On the way, we passed through a lot of paddy field. The paddy field was so green. Although the van was moving, I still took the photo.

Children were taking photo with the snake.

img_3755

So coincidence, Bloggers met their friends in the Oriental Village.

img_3767

Unfortunately, the cable car was having technical issue and needed to wait for 2 hours. No luck with it. Sigh. Since the time was ticking, we left the Langkawi Cable Car and headed to Underwater World instead.

img_3949

We have 1 hour for the Underwater World.

Next destination, Kilim Karst Geoforest Park. It includes Bat Cave, Fish Pond and Eagle Feeding. In order to go there, we need to take a small boat.

img_3957

First, Bat Cave.

img_3973

The cave was very dark. We cannot take the photos with flash, only the tour guide can use the torch light to show us where the bats located. Before entering the cave, Jefferey reminded us not to touch the handle along the pathway for our safety.

img_3981

After the Bat Cave, we left for Eagle Feeding.

img_3999

It was hard to take the photos of the eagle flying down to grab the food on the water surface. That is why, I only have the photo of the eagle flying on the blue sky.

img_4012

Fish Pond is the next destination. Someone was feeding the Stingray.

img_4088

The interesting part was the spitting fish. The spitting fish is very clever. If you place a bread on the pole, the spitting fish will aim and spit exactly on the target, for it to fall into the pond. Interesting!

img_4075

Our last destination, Dataran Lang or in English, Eagle Square.

img_4128

After taking photos with the Eagle, it was time for us to go home. The boat departed at 5.15pm.

img_4137

We thought we only can have dinner after we reached Penang. To our surprise, Jefferey brought us KFC set for each of us, burger with fries and a bottle of mineral water. The boat going back to Penang was so damn cold. It is recommended to bring jacket or sweater, if not, you will be freezing like us.

After we have the KFC and rested a while, we went to the deck for sunset shooting.

At the other side, we can see the Moon as well. What a nice view!

img_4260

Overall, the Langkawi Nature Discovery Trip was fun and enjoyable. It will be nice if we can stay there for one night. To me, the boat ride took too much time, around 6 hours for round trip. Too bad we missed the cable car ride, don’t have the chance to go to the top and see the view.

  1. Granted I am giving this site more credit than I usually give new finds, and a look at cottongrovegoodsgallery continued earning that credit, the calibration of how much trust to extend after limited exposure is something I do carefully and this site has earned more trust on shorter exposure than most due to consistent quality across.

  2. Now thinking about this site as a small example of what good independent writing looks like, and a stop at silkmeadowvendorroom continued that exemplary status, the few sites that serve as good examples are sites worth holding up in conversations about quality and this one has earned that exemplary placement through patient consistent effort over time.

  3. Came in skeptical and left mostly convinced, that is the highest praise I can offer, and a look at alpineharborvendorhall pushed me further in the same direction, content that survives a critical first read is rare and worth recognising because most blog posts crumble under any real scrutiny these days when you actually pay attention closely.

  4. Reading this felt easy in the best way, no friction and no confusion at any point, and a stop at premiumflashhub carried that same comfort across more pages, the kind of editorial flow that lets you absorb information without fighting the format which is increasingly hard to find on the open web today across topics.

  5. Came in confused about the topic and left with a much firmer grasp on it, and after ferncovevendorlounge I felt I could explain this to someone else without hesitation, that is the gold standard for any educational content and most sites simply fail to reach it ever which is unfortunate but true.

  6. Took the time to read the comments on this post too and they were also worth reading, and a stop at premiumbuyarena suggested the community quality matches the content quality, when the conversation around a piece is as good as the piece itself you know you have found a real corner of the internet.

  7. Solid little post, the kind that does not need to be flashy because the substance is doing the work, and a look at acornharbormerchantgallery kept that quiet confidence going across the site, this is what writing looks like when the writer trusts the content to land on its own without theatrics or unnecessary attention seeking behaviour.

  8. Just dropping by to say thanks for the effort, it does not go unnoticed when a writer cares this much about the reader, and after I went through stoneharborcraftcollective I was certain this is one of the better corners of the internet for this particular kind of content which is genuinely refreshing.

  9. Took the time to read the comments on this post too and they were also worth reading, and a stop at seacovevendorparlor suggested the community quality matches the content quality, when the conversation around a piece is as good as the piece itself you know you have found a real corner of the internet.

  10. Once you start reading carefully here it is hard to go back to lower quality alternatives, and a stop at uplandcovecraftcollective reinforced that ratchet effect, the way good content raises standards is real over time and this site has clearly contributed to raising my expectations for what is possible in writing on the topic generally.

  11. Liked the way the post got out of its own way, and a stop at crownharborvendorhall extended that invisible craft, the best writing you barely notice while reading because it is doing its work without drawing attention to itself and this site has clearly mastered that disappearing act across the pieces I have read.

  12. Now adding the homepage to my regular check rotation rather than waiting for individual links to find me, and a stop at easycartonline confirmed the rotation upgrade, the move from passive discovery to active checking is a vote of confidence in a sites ongoing quality and this site has earned that active engagement clearly.

  13. Thank you for keeping the writing honest and the points easy to verify against your own experience, and a stop at chestnutharborvendorstudio reflected the same approach, no exaggeration just steady useful content that I can take with me into my own work without second guessing every sentence I happen to read here.

  14. Felt the writer was being honest with the reader which is rare enough that I want to acknowledge it, and a look at thinkclearlyact continued that honest feel, content built on actual knowledge rather than aggregated summaries is something I value highly and rarely come across in regular searches on the open internet these days.

  15. If I were to recommend a starting point for the topic this site would be near the top of my list, and a stop at progressstartshere reinforced that recommendation status, the small list of starting point recommendations I keep for friends asking about topics is short and this site is now firmly on it.

  16. Worth your time, that is the simplest endorsement I can give, and a stop at goldmanor extends that endorsement across the rest of the site, this is one of those increasingly rare places that delivers on what it promises rather than over selling the content and under delivering on substance every time which I find frustrating elsewhere.

  17. Honest opinion is that this is the kind of post that builds long term trust with readers, and a look at clippoise reinforced that perception, the slow accumulation of trust through consistent quality is the only sustainable way to build a real audience and this site is clearly playing that long game.

  18. Found something quietly useful here that I expect to return to, and a stop at coralharborartisanexchange added more of the same, content with quiet utility ages well in a way that flashy hot takes do not and I have learned to weight quiet utility much higher when deciding what to bookmark for later use.

  19. I really like the calm tone here, it does not push anything on the reader, and after I went through silvercovemarkethall I felt the same way, just steady useful content laid out without drama, which is exactly what someone trying to learn something quickly needs to find rather than aggressive marketing.

  20. Reading this between two meetings turned out to be the highlight of the morning, and a stop at claritypoweredgrowth continued that highlight quality, content that outshines the structured parts of a working day is doing something well beyond ordinary and this site has produced multiple such highlights for me already this week alone.

  21. Liked the natural conversational tone throughout, never stiff and never overly casual either, and a stop at flickaltars kept that comfortable middle ground going, finding a tone that respects the reader without becoming distant or overly familiar is harder than it sounds and this site nails that balance consistently across many different pieces.

  22. Got pulled in by the headline and stayed because the content actually delivered on the promise, and a stop at onecartonline kept that trust intact, when a site lives up to its own framing it earns the right to keep showing up in my browser tabs going forward indefinitely from here on out really.

  23. Now feeling mildly impressed in a way I do not quite remember feeling about a blog in a while, and a stop at daisyharborvendorparlor extended that mild impression, content that produces specific positive emotional responses rather than just neutral information transfer is content with extra dimensions and this site has those extra dimensions clearly.
