Chez Weng @ Precinct 10, Tanjung Tokong, Penang

Posted on by

* Update: The restaurant is no longer in business.

I heard about Chez Weng from one of my friend. He went to dine there for few times and said the food was nice. Then, I got a review invitation that I was not able to make it. I have another chance to try them out when there was a coupon deal on RM18 for a 12” Gourmet Pizza but I never take any action on it. Just after the pizza promotions, another coupon deal is up. This time is for the charity event. RM10 For Spaghetti Bolognaise or Spaghetti Carbonara and RM7 will go to AIESEC for House Of Joy. Since it is for charity and I can try out the food, why not?

Chez Weng is located at the Precinct 10, Tanjung Tokong, Penang, the new happening place in Tanjung Tokong. It is just beside the Island Plaza.

We asked for Ice Water as cannot decide on what to order for the drinks. It has a limited options.

Menu + Cutlery Set.

Spaghetti Bolognaise (Beef). It comes with a big plate and big portion. I like the sauce and minced beef very much. It blends well with the Spaghetti and tastes great.

Spaghetti Carbonara. It is very creamy but it is really GOOD! It will be too much if I need to eat this all alone. Luckily, I share it with my friend.

My friend went a week before and they were served with the bread. We were wondering why we don’t have it. So, my friend asked the waiter there and guess what, they brought the bread for us. 😀 The bread is served with the olive oil and Balsamic vinegar.

After the meal, we thought of trying the coffee. We were asking the waiter whether Latte is better or Cappuccino. The waiter told us Latte is better. However, we ordered both. By the way, with the voucher we bought, we have a 25% discount on the ala carte item from the menu.

Latte – RM6.50.

Cappuccino – RM6.50.

Apple Pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce – RM16. The Apple Pie is full of small chunks of apple. The Cinnamon Ice Cream is just great. I wish to have more. However, I think the dessert is a bit pricey.

Interior

Overall, the Bolognaise and Carbonara are very good. No wonder my friend wanted to go there again. I don’t have the chance to try other food as we were very full after sharing the 2 plates of Spaghetti and dessert. I will definitely go there again to try out others. If you want to try a new place with good western delight, Chez Weng is the one that you must give it a go!

  1. Started thinking about my own writing differently after reading, and a look at bluepetalstore continued that reflective effect, content that influences how I work rather than just informing what I know is content with the highest kind of impact and this site has triggered some of that reflective influence today on me.

  2. Bookmark earned and folder updated to track this site separately, and a look at elitecartbazaar confirmed the folder upgrade was the right call, organising my reading list so that good sites do not get lost in a sea of casual bookmarks is something I do more carefully now and this site warranted its own spot.

  3. Came across this and immediately thought of a friend who would enjoy it, and a stop at goldensprucegoods also reminded me of someone, content that triggers the urge to share is content that has earned my recommendation and this site has earned multiple from me already across different conversations during the week.

  12. Reading this on a difficult day was a small bright spot, and a stop at dynamictrendcorner extended that brightness, content that improves a hard day is content that has earned a particular kind of place in my reading habits and this site is occupying that uplifting role for me today which I appreciate clearly.

  13. Looking back on this reading session it stands as one of the better ones recently, and a look at urbanpetalcollective extended that ranking, the informal ranking of reading sessions against each other is something I do mentally and this session ranks high largely because of this site and a couple of related pages here.

  16. Once I had read three posts the editorial pattern was clear, and a look at sunmeadowstore confirmed the pattern from a fourth angle, sites where the underlying approach reveals itself through accumulated reading rather than being announced are sites with real depth and this one has that quality clearly visible across multiple pieces consistently.

  18. Эта медицинская заметка содержит сжатую информацию о новых находках и методах в области здравоохранения. Мы предлагаем читателям свежие данные о заболеваниях, профилактике и лечении. 19. Worth pointing out that the post avoided the temptation to summarise everything at the end, and a look at rapidcartsolutions continued that confident closing approach, content that trusts readers to retain the substance without being reminded of it at the end is content that respects the reader and this site practices that respect.

23. Strong recommendation, anyone interested in this topic owes themselves a visit, and a stop at cloudberrytraders extends that recommendation across more of the site, this is the kind of resource that makes me more optimistic about the state of the open web than I usually am these days actually for once which is genuinely refreshing.

  24. Came in for one specific question and got answers to three I had not even thought to ask, and a look at premiumcartarena extended that bonus value pattern, the kind of resource that anticipates reader needs rather than just answering the literal question asked is the gold standard and this site reaches it.

  26. В статье рассматриваются различные стратегии борьбы с зависимостями, включая проверенные методы и реальные истории успеха. Читатель узнает, какие подходы наиболее эффективны и как начать путь к выздоровлению.

  32. Found this through a search that was generic enough I did not expect quality results, and a look at goldencovegoods continued the surprisingly good experience, search engines occasionally still surface excellent independent content if you scroll past the obvious paid and high authority results which is reassuring to remember sometimes.

  35. Really grateful for content like this, it does not waste my time and it does not insult my intelligence either, and a quick look at swiftmaplecorner was the same, balanced respectful writing that makes a person feel welcome rather than rushed through pages of forced engagement just to keep clicking around.

  37. Will be passing this along to a few people who would benefit from the perspective shared here, and a stop at premiumgoodsstation only added to what I will be sharing, this kind of generous content deserves to circulate widely rather than getting buried in some search engine algorithm tweak that pushes it down the rankings.

  39. Worth recognising that this site does not chase the daily news cycle, and a stop at twilightmaplecorner confirmed the longer publication arc, sites that resist the pressure to comment on every passing event are sites with genuine editorial discipline and this one has clearly chosen depth over volume which I respect deeply.

  45. Now adding a small note in my reading log that this site is one to watch, and a look at elitegoodszone reinforced the watch status, the few sites I track deliberately rather than encounter accidentally are sites I expect ongoing returns from and this one has cleared the bar for that elevated tracking based on what I read.

  48. Skipped the related links section thinking I had read enough and then came back to it later when curiosity got the better of me, and a stop at urbanpetalmarket confirmed I should have just read it first, every section of this site appears to deserve careful attention rather than skipping past lazily.
