Set Lunch @ Spoon, G Hotel Kelawai, Penang

Thinking of where to eat and what to eat has become the tricky questions for most workers during lunch time. Of course, for those who bring along their own lunch to office, they don’t need to think about it during lunch time, they think of it before preparing the lunch. If you have run out of restaurants that you want to go and no idea on what to eat, you can head over to SPOON, located at level 2, G Hotel Kelawai for their 4-Course Set Lunch. What? Go for lunch in a hotel, are you crazy? No, I am not, because the price for the 4-Course Set Lunch is only at RM25 nett!! Yes, you heard it right, RM25 nett!! The Set Lunch starts from 12pm to 3pm daily until end of 2018. If you are not able to make it during weekdays, you can go during weekends as well!

There are 5 different menus rotating weekly, bringing you more options for your lunch selections. The 4-Course Set Lunch comes with Appetiser (Chef’s Creation), Best From The Pot (Soup of The Day), Choice of Mains Selection (3 choices to choose from), Sweet Delight (Pastry of The Day) and Beverage (Coffee or Tea).

It was on Menu 4 on that day I dined, thanks to the invitation from G Hotel Kelawai.

For the Main, I ordered the Grilled Chicken. It’s Marinated Chicken Breast, served with Pumpkin Gremolata, Spaghetti and Natural Jus.

The chicken breast is marinated well and tender. I like it. It is a huge piece of breast meat. Many people don’t like chicken breast because it is hard and dry, this is the opposite. You should try it out.

Seafood Delight – Charred Fish Fillet, Pommes De Terre Aux Herbs, Greens, Pepper Coulis and Sweet Basil.

For rice lovers, Tom Yum Fried Rice will be your pick. Many of us who tried the fried rice love it a lot, especially the crispy anchovies.

  1. Liked everything about the experience, from the opening through to the closing notes, and a stop at prismridgeessentials extended that into more pages, finding a site where the editorial vision shows through every choice rather than feeling random is an increasingly rare experience and one I am glad to have today during this particular reading session.

  5. Now realising this site has been quietly doing good work for longer than I knew, and a look at ambergrovecrafts suggested an archive worth exploring, sites with deep archives of consistent quality represent a different kind of resource than sites with viral hits and this one looks like the durable kind based on what I see.

  6. Looking through the archives suggests this site has been doing this for a while at this level, and a look at clevergoodsarena confirmed the long term consistency, sites that have maintained quality across years rather than just a recent stretch are sites with serious editorial discipline and this one has clearly been at it for a while.

  8. Worth a slow read rather than the fast scan I usually default to, and a look at bluepetalstore earned the same slower pace from me, content that resets my reading speed downward is content with substance worth absorbing and this site has produced that effect on me multiple times now over the last week here.

  11. Picked this up while looking for something else and ended up reading every paragraph because it was actually informative, and after elitecartbazaar I was sure I would come back, that does not happen often when most sites bury the useful parts under endless ads and pop ups today and across most categories online.

  12. Liked how the post handled an objection I was forming as I read, and a stop at goldensprucegoods similarly anticipated where my thinking was going next, the rare writer who can predict reader concerns and address them in advance is doing something most online content fails to do despite that being basic editorial work.

  16. В этой статье мы говорим о важности поддержки в процессе выздоровления. Рассматриваются семьи, группы поддержки, специалисты и онлайн-ресурсы, которые могут сыграть решающую роль в избавлении от зависимости.

  20. Reading this slowly and letting each paragraph land before moving on, and a stop at dynamictrendcorner earned the same patient approach, content that rewards slow reading rather than speed is content with real density and the writers here are clearly producing work that benefits from the careful eye rather than the rushed scan.

  21. The headings made navigating the post simple even when I needed to find a specific section quickly, and a look at urbanpetalcollective continued the same thoughtful structure, small details like clear headings show that someone is actually thinking about how the reader uses the page rather than just filling it for length alone.

  22. Worth flagging that this approach to the topic is fresh without being contrarian, and a stop at sunmeadowstore extended the same fresh angle, finding original perspective on familiar subjects is rare and this site has clearly developed its own way of seeing rather than echoing the dominant takes from elsewhere consistently.

  23. Thanks again for the post, I learned a couple of things I can actually use later this week, and after I went over rapidcartsolutions the rest of the site looked equally promising, definitely going to spend more time here when I get a free moment over the weekend to read more carefully.

  25. Learned something from this without having to dig through layers of fluff, and a stop at cloudberrytraders added a bit more context that helped tie things together for me, definitely a useful corner of the internet for anyone who wants real information without the usual marketing nonsense around it that often ruins similar pages.

  26. High quality writing, no marketing speak and no buzzwords that mean nothing, and a stop at premiumcartarena kept that going, simple direct content that actually communicates something is harder to find than it should be and this is one of the rare places that gets it right consistently across many different posts.

  30. Recommended without reservation for anyone interested in the topic at any level of expertise, and a look at goldencovegoods only strengthens that recommendation, this site clearly knows how to serve readers across a range of backgrounds without watering down the content or talking past anyone in the audience which is genuinely impressive to see.

  34. A quiet kind of confidence runs through the writing, and a look at swiftmaplecorner carried that same understated assurance, confidence without bragging is the most attractive register for online writing and the writers here have clearly developed it through practice rather than affecting it through stylistic tricks that would feel hollow eventually.

  36. A genuine compliment to the writer for keeping the post focused on what mattered, and a look at premiumgoodsstation continued that disciplined focus, focus is a editorial choice that compounds across many small decisions and this site has clearly made those small decisions consistently across what I have read so far this week here.

  37. Worth a slow read rather than the fast scan I usually default to, and a look at twilightmaplecorner earned the same slower pace from me, content that resets my reading speed downward is content with substance worth absorbing and this site has produced that effect on me multiple times now over the last week here.

  39. Worth recognising the absence of the usual blog tropes here, and a look at elitegoodszone continued that fresh quality, sites that avoid the standard moves of the medium read as more original even when the content is on familiar topics and this one has clearly chosen its own path through the conventional terrain skilfully.

  45. Now adjusting my expectations upward for the topic based on this post, and a stop at urbanpetalmarket continued that bar raising effect, content that resets what I think is possible on a subject is doing real work in shaping my standards and this site is providing those bar raising experiences at a notable rate during sessions.
