It has been ages since I have my A&W. My sister owned the A&W student card that can have a 10% discount on the root beer. Yes, A&W is famous for its root beer, not forgotten about the Coney Dog as well. I used to buy it from the KOMTAR outlet. Back to that time, KOMTAR was still very crowded with people. Later, there is one outlet in Prangin Mall. Now, it was at the Gurney Plaza New Wing.
After the Gelatisimmo‘s review, we started looking for food. We cannot decide on what to eat. In the end, we stepped into A&W. If you go to A&W, the root beer is the MUST order drink. We ordered the Root Beer Float. Oh….. I missed the root beer so much.

Each set is come with the French Fries, of course. The fries are not bad.
Although the burger is small, after finished all the burger, fries and root beer, we are full! The Chicken Burger set is RM14.50 for 2 sets. Add on of RM1 for a single scoop of ice cream on the root beer. I cannot remember the price for the volcano set. If I am not mistaken, it is less than RM7, cheaper than our Chicken Burger set.
Sometimes, I am wondering, can A&W survive since McDonalds and KFC are more popular and almost monopoly most of the market? I have no idea. Anyway, A&W Root Beer is still the best.
