Langkawi Nature Discovery Trip

*This is a special long post with lots of photos*

This post will include food review (as usual), as well as those places I went on the tour. It is a Langkawi Nature Discovery Tour in conjunction with the “Travel with A Green Heart” campaign, brought to you by Langkawi Coral. Thanks to Mr Criz and Mr Leslie.

I woke up early in that morning and fetched 2 other bloggers before headed to Port Swettenham. We supposed to be there at 7.30am, but we were a bit late. After meeting our tour guide Jeffrey and getting the passes, we board the boat. It took around 3 hours to reach Langkawi.

This is the boat we took.

Once we reached, we were sent for lunch at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club by a van. Before on board, I managed to snap the photo of the symbol of Langkawi, the Eagle.

Royal Langkawi Yacht Club is very near to the port.

The food was ready for us. We only need to order the drinks: Juices, Coffee or Tea.

Orange Juice

Apple Juice

Latte

The Tomato Soup was the first to be served. It was too sour for our liking.

img_3680

Fish and Chip. The flour was too thick and the taste of the sauce was a bit weird.

Chicken Burger.

Beef Burger.

Fried Rice with Satay.

img_3722

Sandwich. Very nice, I like it.

Spaghetti.

The view from Royal Langkawi Yacht Club was awesome.

After the lunch, we were rushing to the Langkawi Cable Car. On the way, we passed through a lot of paddy field. The paddy field was so green. Although the van was moving, I still took the photo.

Children were taking photo with the snake.

img_3755

So coincidence, Bloggers met their friends in the Oriental Village.

img_3767

Unfortunately, the cable car was having technical issue and needed to wait for 2 hours. No luck with it. Sigh. Since the time was ticking, we left the Langkawi Cable Car and headed to Underwater World instead.

img_3949

We have 1 hour for the Underwater World.

Next destination, Kilim Karst Geoforest Park. It includes Bat Cave, Fish Pond and Eagle Feeding. In order to go there, we need to take a small boat.

img_3957

First, Bat Cave.

img_3973

The cave was very dark. We cannot take the photos with flash, only the tour guide can use the torch light to show us where the bats located. Before entering the cave, Jefferey reminded us not to touch the handle along the pathway for our safety.

img_3981

After the Bat Cave, we left for Eagle Feeding.

img_3999

It was hard to take the photos of the eagle flying down to grab the food on the water surface. That is why, I only have the photo of the eagle flying on the blue sky.

img_4012

Fish Pond is the next destination. Someone was feeding the Stingray.

img_4088

The interesting part was the spitting fish. The spitting fish is very clever. If you place a bread on the pole, the spitting fish will aim and spit exactly on the target, for it to fall into the pond. Interesting!

img_4075

Our last destination, Dataran Lang or in English, Eagle Square.

After taking photos with the Eagle, it was time for us to go home. The boat departed at 5.15pm.

img_4137

We thought we only can have dinner after we reached Penang. To our surprise, Jefferey brought us KFC set for each of us, burger with fries and a bottle of mineral water. The boat going back to Penang was so damn cold. It is recommended to bring jacket or sweater, if not, you will be freezing like us.

After we have the KFC and rested a while, we went to the deck for sunset shooting.

At the other side, we can see the Moon as well. What a nice view!

img_4260

Overall, the Langkawi Nature Discovery Trip was fun and enjoyable. It will be nice if we can stay there for one night. To me, the boat ride took too much time, around 6 hours for round trip. Too bad we missed the cable car ride, don’t have the chance to go to the top and see the view.

  1. If a friend asked me where to read carefully on the topic I would send them here without hesitation, and a look at firminlets confirmed the recommendation strength, the directness of my recommendation reflects how confident I am in the quality and this site has earned undiluted recommendations from me across multiple recent conversations actually.

  2. Now planning to recommend this site in a context where my recommendations are taken seriously, and a stop at 1stshopping confirmed I should make that recommendation soon, the small but real act of recommending content into spaces where my taste matters is something I take seriously and this site is worth the recommendation.

  3. В этой статье мы рассматриваем разные способы борьбы с алкогольной зависимостью. Обсуждаются методы лечения, программы реабилитации и советы для поддержки близких. Читатели получат информацию о том, как преодолеть зависимость и добиться успешного выздоровления.

  4. Reading this in segments because the day was busy, and the post survived the fragmented attention well, and a stop at spjugt held up similarly under interrupted reading, content that can withstand modern distracted reading patterns rather than requiring a perfect block of focused time is increasingly the kind I prefer.

  5. Probably one of the more reliable sources I have found for this kind of careful coverage, and a look at focusignition reinforced the reliability, the small group of sources I would describe as reliable for a given topic is curated carefully and this site has earned a place in that small group through consistent performance.

  6. Now thinking I want more sites built on this kind of editorial foundation, and a stop at clubmana extended that wish into a broader hope, sites built on substance and care rather than on metrics and growth are the kind of sites I want to see more of and this one is a small example worth supporting.

  7. Beyond the immediate post itself the editorial sensibility behind the site is what struck me, and a stop at batdeu continued displaying that sensibility, content that reveals editorial choices through accumulated reading is content with structural quality and this site has clearly developed an underlying approach worth identifying through multiple sessions of reading.

  8. Going to come back when I have more time to read carefully, the post deserves more than a quick scan, and a stop at flaxdune reinforced that, this is the kind of site that rewards a slower read which is hard to find in this fast paced corner of the internet but really worthwhile.

  9. Now considering writing a longer note about the post somewhere, and a look at willielambert added more material for that note, content that prompts me to write rather than just consume is content with generative energy and this site is producing that generative effect for me at a higher rate than most sources.

  10. Found this through a search that was generic enough I did not expect quality results, and a look at webpic continued the surprisingly good experience, search engines occasionally still surface excellent independent content if you scroll past the obvious paid and high authority results which is reassuring to remember sometimes.

  11. Now feeling the small relief of finding writing that does not condescend, and a stop at aspireclub extended that respect for readers, content that treats its audience as capable adults rather than as people to be managed produces a different reading experience and this site has clearly chosen the respectful approach across all pieces.

  12. Really appreciate the confidence to make a clear point rather than hedging everything, and a quick visit to rubybrookmarketfoundry maintained the same direct stance, writing that takes positions rather than equivocating is more useful even when the positions are debatable because at least the reader has something to react to clearly.

  13. The depth of coverage felt about right for the format, neither shallow nor overwhelming, and a look at slkmlfds01 kept that calibration going, getting the depth right for blog format is genuinely difficult because too shallow loses experts and too deep loses beginners but this site nailed it nicely which I really do appreciate.

  14. Reading this in the morning set a good tone for the day, and a quick visit to hanbo65 kept that good tone going, content can do that sometimes when it hits the right notes and finding sites that consistently strike that tone is something I have learned to recognise and reward with regular visits.

  15. Started imagining how I would explain the topic to someone else after reading, and a look at djhocopo gave me more material for that imagined explanation, content that improves my own ability to discuss a topic is content that has actually transferred knowledge rather than just decorating my screen for a few minutes.

  16. Felt the post was written for someone like me without explicitly addressing me, and a look at zh-movies produced the same fit, when content lands on its target without pandering you know the writer has done careful audience thinking rather than relying on demographic targeting or interest signals to do the work of editorial decisions.
